Art Therapy Group
Art allows you to discover and explore parts of yourself, as well as express the things words do not touch. Art can communicate through time and space. Come hang out with artist Darrell Coble in his studio to discuss and create art. Nora Szilagyi, LCMHC student intern with Rachel Hopkins Counseling, will facilitate conversation to help you dig a little deeper.
This group is open to folks aged 18-24 and is FREE - but space is limited. You will need to register in order to attend.
*Please note that Marble Studios is located on the second floor only accessible by stairs. There is not currently an elevator or lift in this historic building.
What to expect
In a safe and relaxed environment, we’ll be getting up close and personal with the creative process. We’ll lend a hand with Darrell’s collage project by cutting out fun and inspiring images from his magazines and exploring the variety of art supplies in the studio. As we work, we’ll lift our spirits and get to know each other through spontaneous conversation, free associations, and shared stories that spark along the way.
